Aronia Berry Energy Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon of organic aronia powder
- 1/2 cup of almond butter (or nut butter of choice)
- 1/3 cup of honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut
Instructions
- Combine the rolled oats and organic aronia powder in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
- Stir everything together until well combined and a thick, sticky dough forms.
- Pinch off small amounts of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to set.
- Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
