A delightful and mild tonic with floral notes paired with the brightness of orange peel and the sweetness of vanilla and white rum.

2 tablespoons dandelion root
2 tablespoons dandelion leaf
1 tablespoon chamomile flowers
1 tablespoon lavender flowers
2 teaspoons dried orange peel
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups light rum

Place all ingredients except for the vanilla and rum in a large mason jar. Pour over the rum to cover. Add vanilla extract. Replace the lid and shake gently. Let the tincture infuse for 6-8 weeks. Strain off the herbs, reserving the liquid to transfer into dropper bottles. Label and store in a cool, dark place.
