Old Fashioned Lavender Water

This basic recipe has so many uses! Use it to freshen linens, as an herbal air freshener, as a hair tonic, or as a facial spritz (try refrigerating it).

Combine all ingredients into a clean spray bottle. Shake before use.

Lavender-Honey Mask for Dry Skin

Mix the lavender flowers and honey until well blended. To use, spread the mixture on face and neck and rest for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Lavender-Rose Geranium Body Powder

Combine the clay and arrowroot in a small bowl. Add the essential oils a few drops at a time, mixing well with your fingers to avoid clumps. Store the powder in a container with a tight-fitting lid and let rest. After 3-5 days, the powder will be strongly infused with the oils and ready to use.

Lavender Bath Salts

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until finely ground. Store in a clean, glass jar (not plastic) with a tight-fitting lid. To use, add a generous handful to warm bath water. Alternatively, this bath salt may be used as a body scrub with the aid of a washcloth.
