Aromatic Tension Tamer Potpourri Recipe

This makes a large batch of potpourri as colorful as it is fragrant. Use it in dream pillows, linen sachets or to simply display in a decorative dish.

• 2 cups dried lavender flowers
• 2 cups dried lemon verbena leaves
• 2 cups dried chamomile flowers
• 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
• ½ cup dried mint leaves
• ½ cup dried rosemary leaves
• ½ cup dried angelica root
• ½ cup orris root powder
• 20 drops lavender essential oil

Combine dry ingredients in a large non-reactive bowl. Add the essential oil and stir. Scoop the potpourri mixture into glass jars with lids. Seal and store in a dark place for 4-6 weeks, turning or shaking once each day.
