HEALING TURMERIC FACE MASK
This face mask is a great way to help reduce inflammation, clear breakouts and even out the skin tone.
In a small bowl, mix turmeric powder with apple cider vinegar, honey, milk or yogurt. Try to get a consistency that will stick to your face. Be careful not to make it too thin as it may drip. Apply the mask to your face, careful to avoid the eyes. Allow the mask to sit on your face for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.
TURMERIC TONIC WITH GINGER AND LEMON
Loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C, this tasty tonic is a great way to start the day or the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
Bring the water to the boil in a small saucepan. Turn off the heat and add the lemon slices, turmeric and ginger, stirring once or twice. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain, reserving liquid in a glass container or individual mugs. Serve as-is or over ice, if desired.
BERRY CITRUS TURMERIC SMOOTHIE
Turmeric and orange juice add tang while strawberries and goji berries provide sweetness and a bit of texture.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
