Both elderberries and rosehips pack a load of vitamin C and antioxidant flavonoids, as well as minerals and dietary fiber. This simple infusion can be made in minutes and enjoyed as-is from the refrigerator or mixed into juice or tea, either in the morning or before retiring to bed at night.
1 quart water 3 tablespoons dried elderberries 3 tablespoons dried rosehips
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add elderberries and rosehips; reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain; reserving the liquid in a clean container. Refrigerate and use within 7-10 days.
