2 cups dried apple slices
1 cup each bay leaves and sage
½ cup each chopped, unpeeled ginger root and whole cloves
8 1-inch cinnamon sticks
Combine dry ingredients in a large non-reactive bowl. Add the essential oil and stir. Scoop the potpourri mixture into glass jars with lids. Seal and store in a dark place for 4-6 weeks, turning or shaking once each day.
