Monterey Bay Spice Company has always been found at HerbCo.com, so we are making it official and have changed our name to Monterey Bay Herb Co. to match our online store. Along with the new name, we have a new logo—we’re looking to our future, but not going to forget our roots! We’re still your one-stop shop for bulk ingredients including herbs, spices, and teas.

Monterey Bay Spice Company started in a garage in 1997 selling bulk herbs and spices like cinnamon, saffron, and ginger to local shops, health food stores, and restaurants. Today we serve a wide range of customers from tea companies to herbalists, pet supplements to brands of kombucha and skincare. From our humble beginnings to today, two things have remained consistent—our focus on helping small businesses be successful and our respect for the power of herbs to impact everyday life.

Over the last 20 years we have built a deep knowledge of herbs and spices, and the variety of their cosmetic, culinary, and aromatic uses. We will continue to share that information on our product pages, through newsletters and articles.
