Castile soap is a vegetable soap originally made from olives but now sometimes produced rom avocado, coconut or hemp (Dr. Bronner’s is probably the best known brand). Similarly, vegetable glycerin is a moisturizer and cleanser (it dehydrates bacteria) made from coconut or soy. Both of these ingredients can be found in drug stores and in many supermarkets.
1 cup liquid castile soap ¼ cup distilled or filtered water 2 teaspoons vegetable glycerin 15 drops sweet orange essential oil
Stir all ingredients together in a bowl or large measuring cup. Funnel into a clean squirt bottle or pump bottle. Variation: Try a combination or rosemary and peppermint essential oils instead of orange
