[ Recipe: Apricot Sage Bourbon ] ~ from Monterey Bay Herb Co

with apricot jam

This recipe was developed by Kristine Lassor Hopkins of Maker's Mark. As she puts it, "the sage adds an incredible earthy element to this slightly dry cocktail," while apricot jam and lemon add brightness.

1 ½ parts bourbon, preferably Maker's Mark®
¼ part Limoncello
Juice of 3 lemon wedges
1 ½ teaspoons all-natural apricot jam
4 sage leaves
Soda water
Combine all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake for one minute; pour into a highball glass and top with soda water.
