Background: Reishi mushroom have been used for centuries to treat the spirit in Chinese medicine. The first writings about reishi describe it as making the body lighter. While it doesn't seem to help treat weight loss or make the body float, it does help to solve some of its problems.

Reishi mushrooms are known to help lower cholesterol. They're also known for helping to make one live longer. They're still used in Chinese medicine to treat fatigue, upper respiratory problems as well as sleep problems.

In addition, reishi mushrooms are often used to treat the symptoms of hepatitis B as well as altitude sickness. It's also used to assist people going through chemotherapy.

As a powder, take 1-1.5 grams daily

As a tincture, take 1 ml day.

Mushrooms may also be taken in the form of a tea.

Safety:
Reishi mushroom can have some marked side effects such as dizziness, nose bleeds, and dry mouth. You should not take reishi if you are taking blood thinners. Pregnant women should not take reishi.
