Old Fashioned Lavender Water
This basic recipe has so many uses! Use it to freshen linens, as an herbal air freshener, as a hair tonic, or as a facial spritz (try refrigerating it).
1 1/2 cups distilled water 1/2 cup rosewater (available in pharmacies) 50 drops lavender essential oil
Combine all ingredients into a clean spray bottle. Shake before use.

Lavender-Honey Mask for Dry Skin
1 teaspoon lavender flowers 2 teaspoons honey
Mix the lavender flowers and honey until well blended. To use, spread the mixture on face and neck and rest for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Lavender-Rose Geranium Body Powder

Lavender Bath Salts
3 cups Epsom salts 1 cup lavender flowers 20 drops lavender essential oil
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until finely ground. Store in a clean, glass jar (not plastic) with a tight-fitting lid. To use, add a generous handful to warm bath water. Alternatively, this bath salt may be used as a body scrub with the aid of a washcloth.
