Aromatic Kitchen Blend Potpourri Recipe

The scent of this potpourri will remind you of home and hearth during the festive holiday season.

• 2 cups dried marigold (calendula) flowers
• 2 cups dried chamomile flowers
• 2 cups dried orange peel, chopped
• 4 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
• ½ cup orris root powder
• ¼ cup frankincense powder
• ¼ cup whole cloves
• ¼ cup ground nutmeg
• 8 drops sweet orange essential oil
• 8 drops cinnamon essential oil

Combine dry ingredients in a large non-reactive bowl. Add the essential oil and stir. Scoop the potpourri mixture into glass jars with lids. Seal and store in a dark place for 4-6 weeks, turning or shaking once each day.
