DIY Rosemary Mint Soap - Melt and Pour Method

The peppermint scent in this soap refreshing, while rosemary offers antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits for skin.

3 cups glycerin soap base
¼ cup rosemary and peppermint infusion
1 ½ teaspoons peppermint essential oil
½ teaspoon rosemary essential oil
1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary

rosemary & peppermint infusion: Combine 3 heaping tablespoons of dried herbs (twice that, if using fresh) to one cup of boiling water. Let steep for 15-20 minutes, then strain and reserve the liquid infusion.

In the top of a double boiler, heat the soap base or glycerin soap scraps until liquefied. Stir in the herbal infusion, essential oils and dried rosemary. Remove from heat and immediately pour into molds. Cool for several hours until hardened.
