Background: Madder has most often been used as a dye for fabrics. It gives a red color to textiles. While it isn't primarily known for its medicinal qualities, it was used anciently to remedy health problems and can still be used today, however it is used rarely.
Madder is mainly used for urinary tract problems. Those who use it will quickly realize how powerful it can be in turning urine red.

Description: The nutmeg tree is native to Indonesia. It grows as high as 40 feet and is an evergreen tree. It has a strong aroma and yellow flowers that adorn the limbs. It takes almost 10 years for the tree to bear viable fruit. The fruit of the tree is picked when it ripens. It is then separated into nutmeg seeds and mace.

1/2 drachm taken 3-4 times daily.
