Each vial of Plum Flower Brand Red Ginseng contains 1600 milligrams of mature Red Panax Ginseng root extracted and blended perfectly in a base of water and honey.
In a process which gives the ginseng its characteristic red color, the roots are steamed to enhance the "Yang" properties prior to extraction. The best way to draw the full active ingredients from ginseng is by alcohol which we remove in another processing step. Other brands leave it in or add more to "enhance" their product. Testing has shown some brands contain as much as 20% alcohol - a fact not mentioned on the labels.
