Description: French Green Clay contains an abundance of valuable elements, which include montmorillonite, as well as several important mineral oxides, magnesium, calcium, potassium, dolomite, silica, manganese, phosphorous, silicon, copper, and selenium. Iron oxides, and decomposed plant matter give the clay its green color
French Green Clay is mined from very deep deposits that can be up to two thousand feet below the earths surface. Once the clay is mined it is brought out into the sun to remove excess water and moisture and to make it easier to work with. After the clay has dehydrated it is ground very finely with a large Micro Pulverizer. It is then laid out in the sun one more time to dry any possible residual moisture.
